Hi there,
few days ago I receive my Nano VNA V2 /S-A-A-2 and I try to connect it to a PC with Windows 10 OS. I download the software suggested but when I connect the USB cable nothing happen.
I can see that the pc detect the presence of new device but nothing else.
Can anybody help me about performing this connection step by step?
Many thanks
Giorgio
Beware of cheap underperforming clones
As of 2022 there are many badly performing clones on the market. V2/3GHz NanoVNA uses parts like ADF4350 and AD8342 which are costly and clones have been cutting costs by using salvaged or reject parts.
See official store and look for V2 Plus4/V2 Plus4 Pro versions only to avoid getting a bad clone. We have stopped selling V2.2 versions since October 2020, so all V2 hardware that are not Plus or Plus4 are not made by us and we can not guarantee performance.

Hello
You need to install the right drivers for V2:

HI CT2FZI,
thank you for the prompt reply,
I have already installed the driver you suggest, anyway I reinstall it following your iindicated web site but I have still the same result:
when I connect the USB cable from VNA we can heard the sound of PC that confirm the device detection but nothing else happen.
Must I do some action in the VNA or what ? Nothing user instructions are annexed to the VNA arrived !!!
Many thanks

You may have noticed that already, but V2 has a power on/off switch on the
left side of the screen.
Connect V2 to the PC and try flipping the switch and see if anything
happens - does it start up? does the screen blink at least? does your PC
play any sounds like finding/losing some usb connection?
reqards,
q/t.p.

so giorgio at least you now know it works
if you fire up vna qt or nanovna saver you have to "connect" to the
device ... it does not do autoconnect

Look at the Windows device manager. There should be a COM port. If there
is no COM port, then there is a driver problem. Last major Windows
update 2 weeks ago ruined my driver, I had to fix that. There is
probably an "unknown device", update its driver with Windows default
settings. Then a COM port will appear and VNA_QT will work after you
select the COM port in the Device menu.
