Beware of cheap underperforming clones

As of 2023 there are many badly performing clones on the market. V2/3GHz NanoVNA uses parts like ADF4350 and AD8342 which are costly and clones have been cutting costs by using salvaged or reject parts.

See official store and look for V2 Plus4/V2 Plus4 Pro versions only to avoid getting a bad clone. We have stopped selling V2.2 versions since October 2020, so all V2 hardware that are not Plus or Plus4 are not made by us and we can not guarantee performance.

WRONG battery connector.... now what ??

vaclav_sal 2025/04/06 05:15

Whoops...
Ordered new battery and  its CONNECTOR  does NOT  MATCH....
Is there a spec for WHAT battery connector type is  used so I can specify it  ( THE CONNECTOR TYPE )  in my next order ?
PS if interested I can post a picture of BOTH female connectors I got.
Cheers

Hi Vaclav,

If you are handy with a soldering iron, and the 'old' battery is expendable, you can cut off the old battery connector and its leads where it enters the old battery and splice it onto the leads from the new battery. That way you know it will mate with the nanovnaV2.

Good luck and have a great day.

tHANKS FOR THE REPLY... Funny, my better half suggested that from get go....
Me being a thinker and penny pincher - what if I am totally in left field
aND THE BATTERY IS STILL ok ANd the problem is in VNA itself....
I MAY try to contact the supplier and ask if I can get the battery with the
CORRECT connector.
