Beware of cheap underperforming clones

As of 2022 there are many badly performing clones on the market. V2/3GHz NanoVNA uses parts like ADF4350 and AD8342 which are costly and clones have been cutting costs by using salvaged or reject parts.

See official store and look for V2 Plus4/V2 Plus4 Pro versions only to avoid getting a bad clone. We have stopped selling V2.2 versions since October 2020, so all V2 hardware that are not Plus or Plus4 are not made by us and we can not guarantee performance.

VNA View PC App Manual

Sam Mallicoat 2020/11/19 12:18

Does anyone know of a manual for the PC application? It looks like a very
helpful means to communicate with the nanoVNA V2 but it has no Help or
About tab, so I am curious if you have any links.

Thanks!

the autor of the soft made it so userfriendly that he thought a manual
is not needed

in view you can set your scales (be it +30 to -80 or +10 to -100)

under device you can set your sweep range ... and with advanced settings
you can add some average

in main gui you will find on right side the calibration ... in principle
same thing as it is on the devive itself ... open short load through

soooo .... nothing special ...

a programmer can spent his time in programming ... or write a superb
manual ... but not both ;-)

greetz sigi dg9bfc

ps nanovna saver and nanovna_app are two other soft that work superb
with the v2 ... wink wink

Thanks Siegfried,
That’s right, programmers in open source projects expect the code itself to
be self explanatory. Thank you for your observations, perhaps I’ll add
these features as time allows.
Best regards,
