Is the Nano VNA 2 the latest version of nano vna? Has anyone verified the
specs? Last I checked they were very good, but would probably just have to
buy it to see if they are good or not before even using it in a workplace
setting.
Thanks,
Beware of cheap underperforming clones
As of 2023 there are many badly performing clones on the market. V2/3GHz NanoVNA uses parts like ADF4350 and AD8342 which are costly and clones have been cutting costs by using salvaged or reject parts.
See official store and look for V2 Plus4/V2 Plus4 Pro versions only to avoid getting a bad clone. We have stopped selling V2.2 versions since October 2020, so all V2 hardware that are not Plus or Plus4 are not made by us and we can not guarantee performance.

Specs verified?
I had an ex coworker using his in a “work” environment and it worked well for the project he was working on (antenna matching)

V2 is a completely new design compared to the initial
NanoVNA. The latest version of the initial design is H4
but that hasn't been updated in quite some time.

Like any piece of test equipment, it depends on what your workplace
requirements are.
Does it have NIST traceable cal standards:Nope. Could you calibrate it with a
set of traceable standards, you bet.
It does pretty much what the specs say it should do.
It doesn’t have the ability to put something “inside the cal loop” (e.g. if
you wanted to add gain or max power), like some VNAs have.
It doesn’t have a step attenuator before the Port 1 (output) coupler, so you
can’t use it to do power sweeps.
All of the inexpensive VNAs like this don’t have a sine wave output, in fact,
they use the harmonic content to extend the range. If you have a nonlinear
device that you’re testing, that might cause problems.
