Beware of cheap underperforming clones

As of 2023 there are many badly performing clones on the market. V2/3GHz NanoVNA uses parts like ADF4350 and AD8342 which are costly and clones have been cutting costs by using salvaged or reject parts.

See official store and look for V2 Plus4/V2 Plus4 Pro versions only to avoid getting a bad clone. We have stopped selling V2.2 versions since October 2020, so all V2 hardware that are not Plus or Plus4 are not made by us and we can not guarantee performance.

NANOVNA-Saver Help

Greetings Readers,

The program " nanovna-saver.exe " did run on my laptop. Now it refuses to run and returns the following messages :

What distro? Any updates done?

What Python version 3.1.3.5 is the latest, any older Python versions
hanging around that you don't know you need?

Are all of the package deps met? Check that with your package manager.

Is QtWidgets up to date?

What version are you attempting to run, Jeremy?
NanoVNASaver 0.3.8 runs on my W11 box.
Version info should be printed on the first line of the black `Command`
window.

check the contents of and perhap delete
%appdata%\Roaming\NanoVNASaver\NanoVNASaver.ini

Thank you so much every body for the replies.

The problem has been fixed. How? You may ask. Well, I am not a
programmer. I was told by sundry people that I only know enough to be
dangerous. Well I , eventually, found the *.ini file and deleted it and
Lo and behold the program worked!

Where is the *.ini file? In my case it is in the directory on drive c:
... Quote from my notes:

c:\Users\****\AppData\Roaming\NanoVNASaver\*.*

Files:

NanoVNASaver.ini
       Bands.ini
