Beware of cheap underperforming clones

As of 2023 there are many badly performing clones on the market. V2/3GHz NanoVNA uses parts like ADF4350 and AD8342 which are costly and clones have been cutting costs by using salvaged or reject parts.

See official store and look for V2 Plus4/V2 Plus4 Pro versions only to avoid getting a bad clone. We have stopped selling V2.2 versions since October 2020, so all V2 hardware that are not Plus or Plus4 are not made by us and we can not guarantee performance.

Anymore Firmware Updates?

Anthony - N2KI 2024/01/30 05:06

Hi,

A quick question regarding updates for this "official" unit.  The last firmware update I see is August 2022.  Have there been any inroads to updates since then?

Thanks!

Hi, there was an update for VNA6000 in July 2023, we are working on a new firmware release for both VNA6000 and V2 Plus4/Plus4 Pro.
Thanks

Hello @nanov2support,
in a previous post you had declared that a new firmware should be released in October 2023 but nothing has been released yet.
Did you have a new release date ?

Thanks
Arrio
