Beware of cheap underperforming clones

As of 2022 there are many badly performing clones on the market. V2/3GHz NanoVNA uses parts like ADF4350 and AD8342 which are costly and clones have been cutting costs by using salvaged or reject parts.

See official store and look for V2 Plus4/V2 Plus4 Pro versions only to avoid getting a bad clone. We have stopped selling V2.2 versions since October 2020, so all V2 hardware that are not Plus or Plus4 are not made by us and we can not guarantee performance.

Hi All
This revised document is for the SMA calibration kit now delivered by Hugen
for NanoVNA-H NanoVNA-H4 and LibreVNA.
It is improved with respect to the load data only and with the included
special settings for NanoVNA-saver.
It is valid for calibration up to 3.8GHz so please update your calibration
setting if you have this new calibration kit.

Hi Kurt
I am confused.
Recently I purchased a Nano VNA V2 Plus 4 and in the box I received also a set of SOL male adaptors + a F-F SMA adaptor.
The data in your table are for this set ?
I am using Nano VNA -saver and I suppose that the data to imput for calibration are in the last part of your table, is it true ?
Sorry for this additional question but in the last time I saw so many data about calibration Kits that I am confuse and I would like to clarify the matter .
Thanks

The V2 Plus 4 and H4 are two different devices.  They have the same general form and function, but differ in hardware, firmware and performance characteristics.

Hi Lou
so I suppose that the standard supplyied for H4 are different fro thoese supplied with V2Plus 4

Hi all
sorry for the wrong interruption of the above  message.
New a new question :
Is possible to know the standard values for the adaptors supplier with V2Plus 4 ?
Thanks/Regards
G. Canale

Different designers and manufactures of the V2P4 and H4 suggest supplied standards are likely different. Others certainly have more detailed knowledge of this than I do.

IMO, and depending on what you're doing, assuming the supplied standard are perfect is likely good enough.

Hi G.Canale

No this is a different product. The calibration kit in question is the one delivered with the NanoVNA-H and H4 as well LibeVNA:

I think I clearly stated that

Kind regards

Kurt

Hi G. Canale

For that kit is delivered two loads, and as loads a not totally identical these data are for the kit I characterized¨

The user might benefit from trying out both to best match the actual load received

Kind regards

Kurt

Hi G. Canale

I bought long time ago a NanoVNA-SAA2 (Gabrielle development) from Tindie, which was the first version in the product family of which your product belong to.
I did a document at those days for the kit supplied. I do not know if the kit is the same presently.
You might find details in this below zip file useful. I would not be surprised it the kit still is the same.
