Beware of cheap underperforming clones

As of 2023 there are many badly performing clones on the market. V2/3GHz NanoVNA uses parts like ADF4350 and AD8342 which are costly and clones have been cutting costs by using salvaged or reject parts.

See official store and look for V2 Plus4/V2 Plus4 Pro versions only to avoid getting a bad clone. We have stopped selling V2.2 versions since October 2020, so all V2 hardware that are not Plus or Plus4 are not made by us and we can not guarantee performance.

nanoVNA v2plus5 : RBW register

Yohan Le Diraison 2023/03/30 15:09

Dear All,

I got a NanoVNA v2plus4pro. I use it over an USB connection on a
personal software for my company. I wan't to be able to manage the BW
parameter, like the UI firmware do. Unfortunately, I can't find the last
firmware source code, it's not up-to-date, or moved years ago from
https://github.com/nanovna-v2/NanoVNA2-firmware, or maybe I miss something.

Does someone knows which is the BW register and its data
configuration/meaning, and where to find the last firmware source code ?

Best regards,

Hi, the bandwidth setting can be changed by writing one byte to register 0x42.
The supported values are 5, 10, 20, 30, 40, and 60, corresponding to IFBW 0.8kHz, 1.6kHz, 3.1kHz, 4.7kHz, 6.2kHz, and 10kHz.
Thanks
