Beware of cheap underperforming clones

As of 2023 there are many badly performing clones on the market. V2/3GHz NanoVNA uses parts like ADF4350 and AD8342 which are costly and clones have been cutting costs by using salvaged or reject parts.

See official store and look for V2 Plus4/V2 Plus4 Pro versions only to avoid getting a bad clone. We have stopped selling V2.2 versions since October 2020, so all V2 hardware that are not Plus or Plus4 are not made by us and we can not guarantee performance.

What Update

I have an older version of SAA-2N designed by OwOcomm  Hardware V2-2.  Build date 20th June 2020.  I beleive the software version is   git-28200617-1a9a11d    It is the original software supplied with the machine.  Is a later version software available.  If so what version and where can I obtain it. I beleive this is not a clone but I may be wrong.

Hi, unfortunately the version you have is an unauthorized clone, and as it has modifications to reduce cost it's not compatible with the official firmware. We do not recommend attempting to upgrade the firmware as this may brick your device.
You can find more information and how to avoid a bad clone here: https://nanorfe.com/nanovna-v2.html
Thanks,
