Beware of cheap underperforming clones

As of 2022 there are many badly performing clones on the market. V2/3GHz NanoVNA uses parts like ADF4350 and AD8342 which are costly and clones have been cutting costs by using salvaged or reject parts.

See official store and look for V2 Plus4/V2 Plus4 Pro versions only to avoid getting a bad clone. We have stopped selling V2.2 versions since October 2020, so all V2 hardware that are not Plus or Plus4 are not made by us and we can not guarantee performance.

Swap ports on VNA View software

Francesco 2021/12/15 03:16

Hello Swap ports option on VNA View software do not work, there is some possibility to activate to use T/R relay?
Or this is only decorative.

I guess you are using some version of the VNA QT.  The version I have shows the swap port but I couldn't find any mention of it in the manual.  If it does work, I doubt it will work with the setup you made for my software.  It's not like we are all using a common standard.

I was never able to get QT to work with my PC.  The poorly written supplied software is what drove me to roll my own.  It appears the source code is available, so you should be able to reverse engineer it then add to the manual.

Yes there is different think not implemented, possibly reserved for future
use, the graphic is very crude for reverse engineer no my piece of cache. I
use for flashing the firmware have curiosity for the T/R.

For the 50 homs load for the calibration kit, the seller send me some with
very low SWR and best return loss tested on his R&S VNA, I calibrate with this
ones and and on your software get 1.01 reading SWR and fairly flat response on
frequency to 3 Ghz. I ordered one Lite-VNA to see this 6Ghz, from the specs
information luck 3Ghz device. I waiting to read some opinion from you when you
test.

The LiteVNAs arrived and we ran a few quick tests with them tonight.  We ran into a firmware problem right away but have not tried to update them yet.   The hardware looks good so far.   Box is nice to look at.  If it's as bad as the H4, at least the two will look nice together on the shelf.   lol.   Mine should arrive in a few days.
