I tried searching the forum but I didn't find anything that answered my questions.

I ordered a Plus4 from the Tindie store. I chose the SF Express e-parcel shipping option.  I received tracking information through a third-party tracking company called 17track.net.  It shows my NanoVNA made it Shanghai thus far.

When the NanoVNA gets to USA customs will another carrier take over and finish the delivery?  Will the tracking number remain the same or will the next carrier create their own number?

Another question for other USA customers: was there a customs fee or taxes that had to be paid?

Mine came over via a freight consolidator (mine went to TX, I think) and then shipped from there via the USPS.  No additional fees in my case.  IIRC correctly, USPS tracking worked and said they were waiting for the parcel up until they received it in TX and then showed tracking from there. (IIRC)

Last question first.  No, there was no customs fee that I had to pay.   The total fee I paid was the amount charged at checkout on Tindie.

Yes, another carrier takes over once the package is in the USA.   Mine was delivered by the US Postal service.   The package had no marks on it indicating it had ever been in the SF Express system.  instead it arrived with only US postal service markings and a return address that appeared with the name of an individual with a New York area address.  I suspect there is a person stateside that picks up the packages from customs and then re-ships them.   Once the tracking number shows the package is in the US on 17Track.Net, no further positive activity appears there.     Mine showed idle for 10-14 days when suddenly it arrived at my home.
