Beware of cheap underperforming clones

As of 2022 there are many badly performing clones on the market. V2/3GHz NanoVNA uses parts like ADF4350 and AD8342 which are costly and clones have been cutting costs by using salvaged or reject parts.

See official store and look for V2 Plus4/V2 Plus4 Pro versions only to avoid getting a bad clone. We have stopped selling V2.2 versions since October 2020, so all V2 hardware that are not Plus or Plus4 are not made by us and we can not guarantee performance.

Scale/Div

Anthony 2022/03/25 15:57

Is there a way to display the scale/div on the screen?

Thanks!

Afraid not on these analyzers, you have to count down from the
reference 10dB/div, 5db/div etc.

By the way THX much for the support. I realize it's not an easy chore
to drive back and forth to Hana!

Anthony, just checked on my SAA-2N (same as V2) and the display grid
is in the menu at (Display/Scale/Show Grid Values). My FW version is
DisLord ver 1.1.00. Earlier FW might not have the function.

Ted,

It's interesting as the "official units" go, with a higher price tag, you
would think it would have any and all potential features over the
"clones". The earliest firmware from DisLord I had was July 2021 has the
"show grid values" choice. This firmware for an "official" unit dated
March 2022 sadly does not. Not a deal breaker but it would seem it's an
easy addition to a firmware update. Not a deal breaker but just makes it
less of a chance to make an error.

Hi,
I am new to Nano VNA.I thought I am missing some settings hence I do not see the scale. I have the NanoVNA V2 Plus4. None of the official firmware have the scaling features. I like to see this feature added in the next update. Agree with Anthony, it makes less of a chance to make an error.
