I received original NanaoVNA v2 plus5 now (not plus4 pro)

Firmware updated to 20220814...

I try to connect under Win7 (64bit)

Visual C++ installed
CypressDriver - installed

Com port not detected at all in the Saver app:

I can run the Saver app till 0.3.9 but not conect to the device (from the 0.4.0 version just run under win10)
refresh not help...

The Nano VNA-QT (20200507) connecting, - working (the newer version v1.1 not working under win7)

(The App version 1.1.209 OneOfEleven mod by DiSlord also conecting)

The Saver app why not usable under win7?

I resolved a similar problem with Win10 PCs by removing the Cypress drivers and allowing native Microsoft drivers to load instead. It might be worth a try. Good luck.

Suggest to try to reset PC's COM ports so that your device enumerates as a
port at COM9 or below.
two-figure COM ports can be a problem for some software/drivers.

Now the device on the Com3 port; and the probleme is the same...

Win7 not have native driver for this device

(if I disable the online driver search and uninstall and delete all the cypress drivers not working under NanoVNA-QT too)

In the device manager: "CDC-ACM Demo" is the first recognised device and then installing two drivers (from online database or previously installed (CypressDriverInstaller_1.exe) - if I allow ... or I won't stop)

I downgraded the fw to version 20211227 the "Saver" sw recognised the device but looks like only 50dB noise floor and the NanoVNA LCD shows this is V2Plus4 (not a plus5 or pro what it should be)

What's going on?
