Hello,

I have the SAA2 3 Ghz vna [ bare pcb version with sma connectors] with a 4
inch display and use the latest greatest OJIsan firmware.
I want to save on my pc measurements with the nanosaver software because it
has more possibilities then the QT software.

It is for me impossible to connect the saa2 to this software, to QT it is
no problem.

Is this normal or has anyone experienced the same effect.

PC runs on win 10.

from 10 tests it worked 3 or 4 times ... so yes there seems to be a tiny
issue

sometimes it works ... but most times it does not (software closes down
and cause it does it fast i can not read the error message at the end)

but i tried something here ... in nano saver next to "connect to device"
you will find a button "manage" .. i switched off "validate data" and
now connect to device works 10/10 ...

so ... when connecting to device there seems to be some incorrect data
that causes the soft to close down (maybe a timing issue?!?)

test was done here with saver 0.3.6

i made another test

with 0.36 i had to switch off validate .. (see other mail)

 just downloaded 0.38 pre release and there the connection problems
seems to be gone ... even with valifate switched ON i could reliably connect

I will say this you have to wait a good while till saver software to initiate load up it’s almost like a dos program no installer if it makes sense then connect too vna device
