Hello. I just received my Nano VNA V2 Plus, and I'm surprised: there is no battery? Or is it not connected? It only works when plugged into a USB port. I hesitate to open it so as not to lose the guarantee.

I am in the USA and my unit was received without a battery also, reportedly due to carrier constraints.

The unit pictured above features an internal battery holder ready to receive a drop-in battery.  It takes a flat-top 18650 rechargeable lithium battery.

Yes, they ship without a battery due to restrictions on Lithium batterie.
Be sure to get one with the correct length (shorter). I had to buy one
from a vape shop.

The ad in question clearly states, unless you use DHL there will be NO
battery.

Hello and thank you for your quick reply. I opened the device and found that there was no battery. I found one and now everything is ok. Thank you again.

So after reading this, I went to Batteries and Bulbs and got an 18650. But it is too long to fit! Evidently “Flat Top” means no pimple on the positive end, because this one is too long to fit. I didn’t want to go into a vape shop, but guess I will have to now.

Go to a vape shop. They will have the flat top battery.

Check these guys out: https://batteryhookup.com/   I've bought hundreds
of dollars from them and not had a problem they didn't solve
immediately, (i.e. broken, shortages, etc) You won't be able to beat
their prices. When buying, max out the shipping i.e. 1 cell will cost
the same shipping for several more. (just play around with the quantity
and you'll see what I mean).

Thanks for that, Mike. I will keep that site in mind for future needs. You’re right - their prices are unbeatable, but I had already ordered from this site: https://www.batteryjunction.com. For a name brand battery (Samsung) including shipping, I paid the same as the button top 18650 I got from the local Batteries & Bulbs store.
