As of 2022 there are many badly performing clones on the market. V2/3GHz NanoVNA uses parts like ADF4350 and AD8342 which are costly and clones have been cutting costs by using salvaged or reject parts.
See official store and look for V2 Plus4/V2 Plus4 Pro versions only to avoid getting a bad clone. We have stopped selling V2.2 versions since October 2020, so all V2 hardware that are not Plus or Plus4 are not made by us and we can not guarantee performance.
I bought a V4+ from the NanoRFE store at AliExpress and it was to include the battery
It came without the battery,
I cannot make contact with the store to discuss the problem

What was the shipping method selected? I think some of them can't ship
batteries, check the description.

did you order with express delivery? In this case they cannot deliver
including the battery (noted somewhere on the Aliexpress NanoRFE site where
the VNA is offered). Maybe shipping the battery to your country is not
possible.
It is a standard 18650 cell, you can order at other shops in your country.
Or you can start a dispute on the Aliexpress order...
