Beware of cheap underperforming clones

As of 2023 there are many badly performing clones on the market. V2/3GHz NanoVNA uses parts like ADF4350 and AD8342 which are costly and clones have been cutting costs by using salvaged or reject parts.

See official store and look for V2 Plus4/V2 Plus4 Pro versions only to avoid getting a bad clone. We have stopped selling V2.2 versions since October 2020, so all V2 hardware that are not Plus or Plus4 are not made by us and we can not guarantee performance.

Nano VNA V2 Plus4 Pro Questions

New Nano VNA V2 Plus4 Pro user. I have noticed a couple of issues with my new unit.

First, I can't change the output level. The ADF4350 TX Power menu does not work. Output is the same for all 4 levels (0-3).

Second, The image below shows the output set to 4 MHz with CW Freq. It shows noise on the output. My other Nano VNA does not have this noise.

Hi, the ADF4350 TX power affects only frequencies above 140MHz, can you check the sweep frequency setting?
The discontinuous output signal is normal and due to the V2 architecture, as it switches the output signal rapidly to make measurements with low drift, so we advise that V2 series can not be used as a signal generator.
