Beware of cheap underperforming clones

As of 2023 there are many badly performing clones on the market. V2/3GHz NanoVNA uses parts like ADF4350 and AD8342 which are costly and clones have been cutting costs by using salvaged or reject parts.

See official store and look for V2 Plus4/V2 Plus4 Pro versions only to avoid getting a bad clone. We have stopped selling V2.2 versions since October 2020, so all V2 hardware that are not Plus or Plus4 are not made by us and we can not guarantee performance.

Firmware question

Lou W7HV 2024/04/02 09:07

I've been out of the loop for a couple of years.  I have a V2Plus4 (non-Pro) running DisLord 1.1.00 build 12/17/21.  Does the nanorfe.com ver *20211227* superseded that?  There's also *20220814*.  I confused about what's what with the versions.

Hi, the latest firmware for your hardware version is 20220814, you can
download it here:
https://nanorfe.com/downloads/20220814/nanorfe-20220814-v2plus45.bin
20211227 is the old stable version.
Thanks,

OK.  I just loaded 20220824 and lost some of the features of my previous 1.1.00 version, such as the MEASURE menu and 401 point capability.   Seems 1.1.00 is superior, no?  Also, there are  DisLord versions 1.0.69 and 1.2 that I saved at some point in the past.  Which among these is preferable?
