Beware of cheap underperforming clones

As of 2022 there are many badly performing clones on the market. V2/3GHz NanoVNA uses parts like ADF4350 and AD8342 which are costly and clones have been cutting costs by using salvaged or reject parts.

See official store and look for V2 Plus4/V2 Plus4 Pro versions only to avoid getting a bad clone. We have stopped selling V2.2 versions since October 2020, so all V2 hardware that are not Plus or Plus4 are not made by us and we can not guarantee performance.

In addition to the latest firmware, there is another version you might want to look at (use google translate):
I don't know if it supports the latest PC viewing software, but as stand-alone firmware it has some very nice features.  There is a version that supports your version of the V2

Another firmware version with very nice features for stand-alone use (use google translator):
I have the same V2 version you have, and the firmware works well.

Hello John!
FW from ojisankoubou works only, then NanoVNA V2 has FPU. For 2.8" only.

The ojisankoubou site also includes a version for 4" : binary_st7796_20201004.bin, ( )
but it probably also requires the FPU.  (I have both 2.8" and 4" units.)

I notice that when the DiSlord firmware is in the Port-Z rescaling mode, the Smith chart markers do not read out the correct values in R +jX  or R + L/C modes.  Where should I report this?  (I assume it is a bug.  The ojisanloubou firmware seems to give correct marker readouts in this mode.)

I am not programmer.

Hello John!
The original FW from ojisankoubou has no screen capture option (in program NanoVNA-APP)
This FW for 2.8" device was compiled 20201202 (not from me).

In attach:
- binary from 20201202
- screen capture from NanoVNA-APP 1.1.206
