I have a NanoVNA V2 Plus4. I placed the device in white screen mode by depressing the left toggle button and powering it up. I tried to upgrade the firmware via vna_qt 1.1. The application detects the COM port in the white screen mode but does not connect to the device. I tried NanoVNa-APP and it successfully detected the device and uploaded the firmware.

FWIW I upgraded mine quite happily with VNA_QT v1.1 on Windows 10, it
took about 10-15 seconds before the VNA restarted with the new fw shown
via the Version menu.

It is possible that this is down to device drivers interacting on
different OSs, so Windows 11 might be different.

Is there a simple download for the VNA_QT v1.1 Or other software that will allow you to upgrade the firmware for the NanoVNA V2plus4. I have spent a few hours downloading nanosolver and ni-labview and that is not working for me.

i prefer nanovna app

download the exe in a folder (like c:/hamware/nanovna-app)

and run it only from there (NOT try to start it in your dowload folder
or the ini will be placed also in download and not in the app folder) ...

if you boot your v2, v2plus, v2plus4 in bootloader mode (switch on with
button pressed) the nanovna app will find it in bootloader mode and asks
you if you want to upgrade fw ... click on "yes" and select file and
upload works just fine

(in the app folder i made another folder "FW" where i put all the
different versions in)

Thanks for the help. I had the app and just needed to choose com 3. Worked great.
