Beware of cheap underperforming clones

As of 2022 there are many badly performing clones on the market. V2/3GHz NanoVNA uses parts like ADF4350 and AD8342 which are costly and clones have been cutting costs by using salvaged or reject parts.

See official store and look for V2 Plus4/V2 Plus4 Pro versions only to avoid getting a bad clone. We have stopped selling V2.2 versions since October 2020, so all V2 hardware that are not Plus or Plus4 are not made by us and we can not guarantee performance.

CMC - I PROMISE FINAL.......FINAL.......NEW INFORMATION

David Eckhardt 2021/01/25 23:53

OK, this is it. Please have a read of the attachment as there is some good
additional information including measurement of amplitude balance and phase
behavior of the DM side of the CMCs.

Now, please, can someone enlighten me on how to share this to more amateur
radio operators by way of QRZ? My first attempt would not accept this
format. Is it the image of the winding illustration? Any ideas, theories,
thoughts, phases of the moon would be welcome.

PS: This is only a part of the hobby as I have the equipment and am
retired and wanted to share with others.

Hopefully, this time, I get the intended file....... Try again and have a
look at the attachment. I've added a fair amount of new information and
measurements.
