Have searched here, but can't find a mention of this firmware (more specifically, for my use, the v2Plus4 version).

Any details available about the changes/features?
Beware of cheap underperforming clones
As of 2022 there are many badly performing clones on the market. V2/3GHz NanoVNA uses parts like ADF4350 and AD8342 which are costly and clones have been cutting costs by using salvaged or reject parts.
See official store and look for V2 Plus4/V2 Plus4 Pro versions only to avoid getting a bad clone. We have stopped selling V2.2 versions since October 2020, so all V2 hardware that are not Plus or Plus4 are not made by us and we can not guarantee performance.

20201124-experimental firmware?
Also, looking at the official changelog, what does "20201122 Reverted because of serious bugs in averaging fix" mean? Are we supposed to try the 20201124-experimental instead until it becomes stable?
I can't go back to 20201013, since it doesn't allow perfect calibration of my Plus4.
Try this one:

Hvala Pavos,
that's exactly the firmware I'm running, but since the changelog says "reverted" I'm wondering whether the experimental one is now recommended, plus I'm unable to find a changelog of the experimental firmware.
20201124-experimental fixes a few bugs and is in beta testing. 20201122
is broken, don't use it, use either 20201013 or 20201124-experimental
instead.
Thank you very much for your reply, I will try it later today. Please, do update the changelog and the website with a notice on the now recommended firmware.
The Plus4 is an amazing tool, but newcomers might be put off by bugs of the older firmwares ;-)
Cheers!
I am using an Official VNA2plus 4 and firmware 20201124-experimental.
Calibration does not report accurate S21 measurements after calibrations.
see screen shot below.
It reports S21 min and max as being on same frequency and both negative, when clearly from the chart there is actually a positive(?) S21 after calibration?
How do you get "gain" after a 2-port calibration with a through connected? this should be zero/-flat.

It's a known bug in nanovna-saver. Can you see if thru calibration works
as expected in NanoVNA-QT?
VNA QT no longer works for me after installing the experimental firmware.
Do i need to remove nano vna saver?
